Sharing JKSM expertise For Brunei skills Development of Syariah Law

BRUNEI - The Ministry of Religious Affairs of Brunei Darussalam through the Islamic Legal Unit has organised a Skills Development Course attended by over 50 participants comprising civil and Sharia laws practitioners, officers from the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Royal Brunei Police Force and other agencies in the country.

In this regard, Y. Bhg. Dr. Mohd Na'im bin Mokhtar, Deputy Director of Family Support Division (Bahagian Sokongan Keluarga - BSK) was specially invited to represent the Shariah Judiciary Department Malaysia (Jabatan Kehakiman Syariah Malaysia - JKSM) to act as a facilitator for the course.

There were four separate modules for the course beginning with Civil Procedure 1 (Trial) held from November 22 - 25, 2010, followed by Civil Procedure 2 (Post Judgement) from January 10 - 13, 2011. The third module was Criminal Procedure 1 (Investigation and Pre-Trial) (date not mentioned) and the last module was Criminal Procedure 2 (Trial and Post-Judgment) from February 7 - 10, 2011.
